East Coast Railway has issued an addendum to GDCE Notification No. ECoR/Pers/RRC-GDCE/2026 dated 7 August 2026. It covers Junior Engineer technical syllabus, examination-group choices and the application deadline.
What changed? / рдХреНрдпрд╛ рдмрджрд▓рд╛?
- The deadline for fresh applications and the specified post/exam-group and preference edits is extended to 29 September 2026.
- Additional JE syllabi cover Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical allied engineering groups, with a discipline-mapping table.
- Already registered candidates do not need a fresh application.

The notice describes a one-time preference-edit facility. Proceeding clears the previous post-group and preference selections; candidates must select and submit them again. Review eligibility and every selection before final submission. All other conditions of the original notification remain unchanged.
